Collection Browser. Module that displays all music purchased through Bandcamp. It allows navigation through individual albums and tracks with complete metadata including cover art, artists, and duration. The library synchronizes with the user's Bandcamp account.
Offline Caching. Local download system for tracks. Files are stored on the computer's hard drive to enable playback without internet connection. The cache persists across sessions and updates automatically in the background daily.
Bandcamp Radio. Integrated player for the Bandcamp radio streaming service. It provides access to stations and programs available on the platform directly from the application interface.
Playlist Management. Tool for creating and editing custom playlists. It supports organizing collection tracks into dynamic lists and modifying playback order through drag-and-drop functionality.
Chromecast Support. Audio streaming functionality to Google Cast devices. It allows sending playback of tracks and playlists to compatible speakers and televisions connected to the same local network.
Windows Media Controls / Last.fm Scrobbling. Integration with operating system media controls on Windows, enabling pause or track change without focusing the window. Additionally, it records plays to Last.fm account using user-provided API token.

Queue Management. Advanced playback queue management with drag-and-drop reordering support. It allows viewing upcoming tracks, removing items, and reorganizing playback sequence on the fly.
Smart Buffering / Persistent Caching. SQLite database storage system accelerating application startup. Cover art and metadata are stored locally, displaying visual indicators during initial loading of large collections.
Auto-Updates. Automatic update mechanism downloading and installing new software versions when available. It periodically checks for new releases in the official repository.
Shuffle & Repeat. Playback mode controls including queue randomization and single track or entire active list repetition. They function in combination with playlists and local cache.
Connection Management. Remote session management identifying each device connected via web or mobile application. It allows monitoring and terminating active connections from the main program panel.

Beta Player development was started by programmer Eremef. The project began in 2022 as a tool to play Bandcamp purchased music without relying on a web browser. The application is primarily written in JavaScript, utilizing the Electron framework to package the code into cross-platform desktop applications.
