  • Flow Runner for workflows. Visual tool that chains multiple HTTP requests into automated sequences. It allows extracting variables from one response to use in subsequent steps, configuring retries on failures, defining per-step assertions, and running complete iterations. Flows can be imported from existing OpenAPI projects.
  • Visual OpenAPI designer. Split-view editor that synchronizes the visual API representation with the source code in JSON or YAML. Supports OpenAPI versions 3.0, 3.1, 3.2 and Swagger 2.0. Includes direct testing capability from the specification and management of schemas, security schemes, and webhooks.
  • Full HTTP client. Support for GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE, HEAD and OPTIONS methods. Automatic protocol negotiation for HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 with connection pooling and DNS caching to optimize request performance.
  • Visual assertions. Response validation system based on a graphical interface requiring no scripting. Enables verification of status codes, response times, headers, and JSON paths through a visual builder with pattern matching and regular expressions. Provides clear pass/fail diagnostic feedback.
  • GraphQL support. Specialized client with schema explorer and query builder. Allows interaction with GraphQL APIs, visualization of available structure, and assisted request construction.
  • Real-time connections. WebSocket client implementation and Server-Sent Events (SSE) support. Facilitates debugging of APIs using bidirectional communication or server events.
  • Authentication handling. Management of authorization methods including Bearer Token, Basic Auth, and API Key. Implements OAuth 2.0 with all flows including PKCE, along with automatic token refresh and OpenID Connect support.
  • Pre-request and post-request scripts. Execution of custom code before sending a request or after receiving a response. Enables data manipulation, variable setting, or additional programmatic validations.
  • Developer utilities. Integrated toolset including Base64, URL and Hash encoders, JWT decoder, UUID generator, and regular expression tester. Includes request timing breakdown with DNS, TLS, and Time To First Byte details.
  • Environment variables and secret masking. Variable system with sensitive value masking in the interface. Allows switching between different configuration environments without modifying requests.
  • Request history. Complete request log with search functionality and one-click replay. Facilitates test repetition and debugging of previous workflows.
  • Privacy by design. The application does not require cloud connectivity, account creation, or telemetry transmission. Work data remains in the local environment.
  • Contract testing. Response validation against JSON schemas and OpenAPI specifications. Ensures implementations conform to the defined API contract.
  • SSRF protection. Includes cloud metadata guard that protects against Server-Side Request Forgery attacks by blocking requests to sensitive internal addresses.

Tigrister development began in 2026. The application is written in the Rust programming language and utilizes the Tauri framework for the graphical interface layer. The core developers are a European team specializing in API tools operating under the commercial name Tigrister.
