  • Video and audio streaming. Play content from Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles via streaming, both over the cloud (xCloud) and on your local network. Adaptive resolution adjusts to your connection quality.
  • Gamepad support. Works with gamepads connected to the device running Greenlight. Buttons and analog sticks are correctly mapped to Xbox controller inputs.
  • Haptic feedback. Supports vibration (rumble) when using xCloud, keeping the gameplay experience close to playing directly on an Xbox console.
  • Keyboard controls. Offers keyboard mapping that emulates an Xbox controller, which is handy when you don't have a physical gamepad.
  • Friends list. Shows which of your contacts are online right from the interface, so you can quickly see who is available to play.
  • Streaming statistics. Provides detailed technical data during streaming, including FPS, latency, and buffer status. Toggle it with the ~ key.
  • Debug information. Displays advanced streaming performance metrics, useful for diagnosing problems or optimizing your connection.
  • Steam Deck compatibility. Runs on Valve's handheld, though with some minor bugs. We recommend mapping a back button to the 'N' key to emulate the Xbox button.
  • Customizable interface. Lets you adjust certain visual and control settings to suit different screens and usage preferences.
  • Cross-platform support. Runs on all major desktop operating systems while delivering a consistent experience across them.

Greenlight was created as an open-source alternative for accessing Xbox streaming services. Development began in 2022, using the strengths of TypeScript to build a stable and maintainable application. The project is hosted on GitHub, where it receives regular updates from the community.
