Capsule Days is a personal diary program for Windows that takes a social media-like approach to daily journaling. It allows you to write multiple entries per day, customize text with colors and sizes, insert images, create freehand drawings, and use a compact mode. All content is stored locally in an SQL database, and the application can function without an internet connection.

• Multi-user with password. The software supports creating multiple user profiles, each protected by a unique password. This enables different people to use the same program installation while maintaining privacy and absolute separation of their diaries. User management is a core function for shared or family use of the device.
• Unlimited daily entries. There is no limit to the number of articles or notes that can be written on a single day. Each thought, event, or idea can be recorded in a separate entry on the corresponding date, facilitating detailed and chronological documentation of the day.
• Text and image customization. Diary articles allow modifying text properties such as color and font size. Additionally, images can be inserted from the computer, enriching entries with visual content and complementing written descriptions.
• Freehand drawing in articles. The integrated drawing function makes it possible to create illustrations or doodles directly within a diary entry. This tool serves to add handwritten annotations, sketches, or unique decorative elements that cannot be captured with text or imported images.
• Compact mode and transparency. The main interface can be reduced to a very small size and placed in a corner of the screen. When not in active use, the window becomes semi-transparent automatically. This feature is designed to keep the diary visible and permanently accessible without obstructing other tasks.
• SQL database storage. All articles, images, user data, and settings are saved in a local SQL database format. This method provides a robust structure for data management and retrieval, and allows the program to operate completely offline, ensuring information privacy.
• Single-line mode. As an alternative to compact mode, there is a single-line mode that further reduces the interface. In this state, the window allows typing only characters, offering a minimalist way to make quick notes without distractions.
• Word charts and statistics. The application generates charts from the content of articles, showing the frequency of words used. A side panel allows configuring detailed values for these charts, and the words within the chart can automatically rotate for better visualization.
• Advanced search functions. It includes a search system to locate past articles. The search view has a button that displays links to words related exclusively to the searched term, facilitating topic exploration within the diary.
• Window and theme customization. Resizing of the main window can be configured among several options: all four sides and corners, only corners, only sides, or fixed. Additionally, individual visual themes can be hidden from a context menu, allowing the appearance to be adapted.
• Configurable date format. Users can change the format in which dates are displayed within the application. It is also possible to swap the position of the month and day in the date list, adapting the display to regional or personal preferences.
• Web view control. You can choose between four time levels for integrated web views to disappear automatically. There is also the option to configure them to remain visible until the user performs another action, controlling the behavior of embedded multimedia or web content elements.

The development of Capsule Days began as a personal diary application with an interface and dynamics inspired by social media platforms. The program is developed by Wolfeign and its first public version was released before 2024, with continuous updates leading to the current version 1.31, released on December 16, 2025.
