Hollow is a customizable digital environment where you build your own workspace instead of adapting to someone else's. It is designed to organize tasks, notes, and workflows in a visual and flexible environment. Instead of being limited to fixed layouts or predefined structures, you freely place tools and create multiple independent instances of them whenever you need.

• Independent multiple instances. You can create as many copies of a tool as needed. If you require separate task managers for different projects, you create them. If you need different, visible notebooks at the same time, you generate them without limit. Each instance functions autonomously, without interfering with others.
• Free placement of tools. The workspace does not impose grids or forced alignments. Elements are positioned on the canvas by direct dragging, allowing spatial organization based on personal or visual criteria. The position of each block is determined solely by the user.
• Task management by instance. Each instance of the task manager operates with its own set of lists, tags, and statuses. This allows for strict separation of work, personal, or creative contexts, without mixing information between projects or areas.
• Block-based note system. Notes are managed in instances that support rich text formatting. Each note block maintains its content in isolation, making it possible to have reference documentation open while working in another section of the space.
• Continuous work canvas. The workspace has no pages or fixed limits. It expands as elements are added, allowing for the visual distribution of components on a wide plane without size or column restrictions.
• State persistence per session. The position of each tool and the content of each instance are saved automatically. Upon reopening the application, the workspace is restored exactly as it was, with all windows and data in their place.
• Visual organization through tags. Instances can be categorized with visible tags and customizable colors. This facilitates quick identification of contexts or priorities within the canvas, without needing to open each element.
• Extensible plugin system. External developers can create new tools via a specific API. These tools are integrated as native instances, expanding the program's capabilities without modifying its modular design philosophy..
• Custom tool instances. In addition to the base tools, any installed plugin generates its own instance type. This allows, for example, having multiple, simultaneous habit tracking panels or data viewers, each with independent configuration.
• Data export by instance. Each block of information can be exported individually to standard exchange formats. This allows extracting specific task lists or notes without needing to export the entire workspace.
• Local change history. Modifications to the content of instances are recorded internally. It is possible to consult previous versions of tasks or notes to recover overwritten or accidentally deleted information.
• Free window resizing. Each instance has controls to adjust its size independently. This allows for visually prioritizing certain elements by enlarging them, or reducing others to a compact size while they remain accessible.

Hollow App began its development in 2025. The application is primarily programmed in TypeScript, using React for the component interface and a local storage layer based on IndexedDB. The project is maintained by a team of independent developers who continue to expand the plugin system and the stability of the work environment.
