• Always-on-top mode. The window can be pinned above other applications using the shortcut ??T. The window level remains higher even when switching the active application.
• Clickable links. URLs in plain text and Markdown tabs are displayed underlined in a distinctive color. A click opens the URL in the default browser. Recognition works with http, https, and ftp protocols.
• Automatic saving. Every modification in any tab is immediately persisted to the local session file. No manual user action is required. Recovery after a forced close restores the exact previous state.
• iCloud synchronization. Editor tabs can be synchronized between different Mac computers via iCloud Drive. Synchronization is optional and configurable per tab. Content is stored in plain text format.
• Icon configuration. The application allows independently hiding the dock icon or the menu bar icon. Automatic startup when the system boots is configurable.

Itsypad began its development in 2022. The application is written entirely in Swift and SwiftUI. The author is an independent developer. The program is distributed for free with no planned monetization date. The first public version was released in 2023.
