Download Black Screen

The Black Screen application provides control over monitor display to manage work and rest time. The software executes total or partial screen dimming through configurable keyboard shortcuts. This mechanism serves to interrupt continuous activity in front of the computer, encouraging regular breaks. The main function involves temporary screen blackening, which acts as a physical reminder to look away from the monitor. The implementation includes customizable timers for work and rest intervals, following principles of structured productivity methods. The application operates in the background with minimal system resource consumption.
