  • Multi-service integration. The application supports the simultaneous connection of over 40 platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Skype, LinkedIn, Instagram Direct, and many others. Each service loads in an independent tab within the unified interface, functioning as its web version but within the application's environment.
  • Interface customization. Users can modify the visual appearance of the program. Settings include light and dark themes, color schemes, and changes to the interface density. The arrangement of tabs and the sidebar is configurable to adapt to different workflows.
  • Desktop notifications. The system displays native operating system alerts for new messages. Notifications are configurable per service, allowing you to enable or disable sounds, message previews, and on-screen display duration. A global counter in the system tray icon indicates the total number of unread messages.
  • Multiple instances. This feature allows running several application windows simultaneously. This is practical for separating personal and work accounts, or for maintaining different sessions on services that do not allow multiple logins in their standard web interface.
  • Cross-device synchronization. The application keeps the session active on services that allow it, similar to a web browser. Connection statuses and read messages are reflected on other devices where the same account is used, as the session logic depends on each integrated platform.
  • Work mode. A feature minimizes the window to the system tray or hides it with a keyboard shortcut, reducing visual distraction. Notifications continue to function in this state, allowing you to receive alerts while using other applications in full screen.
  • Account manager. The program securely stores login credentials for each added service, using the operating system's storage system. It facilitates quick reconnection without needing to re-enter passwords after closing and reopening the application.
  • Global keyboard shortcuts. Key combinations can be defined for frequent actions like showing/hiding the main window, muting notifications, or navigating between service tabs. These shortcuts operate at the system-wide level, even when the application does not have focus.
  • Notification filtering. Granular configuration to control which events generate an alert. Rules can be set based on the source service, the type of conversation (group or individual), or keywords contained in the message, to avoid alert overload.
  • Activity log. Maintains a local history of received notifications, accessible from a panel within the application. This log is useful for reviewing alerts that might have been missed, especially when the system was inactive or offline.
  • Tracking blocker. Includes options to limit data collection by the websites of the integrated services. This function acts on common tracking scripts, similar to browser extensions dedicated to privacy.
  • Unified search system. A search field allows you to find conversations or contacts across all connected services simultaneously. Results are grouped by platform and show a snippet of context from the most recent related message.
  • Configuration import/export. Creates a backup file with all customization, the list of added services and their specific settings. This file can restore the configuration on a new installation or migrate it to another computer, maintaining the personalized layout.
  • Resource usage control. The application includes a monitor that displays RAM and CPU consumption for each active service tab. It allows identifying and closing tabs of services that consume excessive resources, optimizing overall system performance.

The All-in-One Messenger application was created in 2016. The initial development was carried out by an independent programmer, Thomas Hübner. The project arose as a response to the proliferation of messaging applications and the difficulty of managing them efficiently from the desktop. The application is built using the Electron framework, which combines Node.js for backend logic and Chromium for the interface rendering engine, enabling cross-platform development with standard web technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
