Any Screen Recorder is a screen capture tool designed for computers with limited hardware resources. It utilizes a Direct3D and WIC engine to capture frames directly from the GPU without encoding video in real-time. This eliminates FPS drops and system lag during recording. The program saves data as a raw file (.screc) and converts it to a 60 FPS MP4 video upon completion. The Smart Delta Frame logic reduces CPU usage to 2% or 3% during idle periods. The software is free, contains no watermarks, and records internal audio via the Windows WASAPI interface.

Zero-Lag Architecture. The program separates the video rendering process from the screen capture operation. During recording, it saves raw data directly to the hard drive to avoid CPU saturation. When the recording finishes, it processes the file and converts it into an MP4 video, thus preventing any system performance drops.
Crystal Clear Internal Audio. It incorporates the Windows WASAPI engine to record system sounds and game audio without quality loss. An 'Audio Only' mode is available, saving the file directly in M4A format.
Smart UI and Theme Engine. Minimalist graphical interface with options for Dark Mode, Light Mode, or the system default theme. The interface adapts to reduce resource consumption and facilitate navigation.
Dynamic Mouse Tracking. Functionality designed for tutorial creation. The software records the cursor position and highlights clicks with a yellow circle rendered directly by the GPU for viewer identification.
Resolution and FPS Control. Allows selection of output resolution between Full Screen (original), 1080p (FHD), or 720p (HD). Offers two frame rate options: 30 FPS or 60 FPS to suit different content types.
Live Progress Bar. Displays the percentage and remaining time during the conversion of the raw file (.screc) to MP4 format. The user can monitor the process status at all times.
High-Performance Background Recording. Generates two files during capture: an uncompressed video file (.screc) and an audio file (.bsr_aud). This separation prevents the system from having to sync tracks in real-time and reduces workload.
Fullscreen or Window-Specific Capture. The user can define the recording area by selecting a specific window or maintaining fullscreen mode. The capture adapts to the chosen area without pixel resizing.
Optimized Post-Encoding. After recording, the program merges the video and audio tracks without loss of synchronization. It uses efficient encoding to generate an MP4 file ready for playback on any standard media player.
Double-Click Playback. Once the video is generated, the program allows direct opening with the system's default player by double-clicking the file in the recording list.

Development of Any Screen Recorder began in 2024. The program is written in C# and uses the .NET framework to integrate with Windows Direct3D graphics APIs and WASAPI audio capture. The application was created by Aryan Mewada and his team to address performance issues found in traditional recorders on systems with 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM.
