  • Live desktop streaming. Real-time display of the computer screen from the mobile device. The image is transmitted with integrated audio support, allowing remote listening of system sounds or multimedia. Latency adjusts automatically based on local network conditions.
  • Direct file transfer. Sending photos, large videos, ZIP files, and PDF documents between Android and Windows without cables or cloud storage. Local network detection prioritizes the fastest path to move gigabytes of data. Multiple selection allows uploading complete batches in a single operation.
  • Touch mouse with gestures. Conversion of the phone screen into a precision trackpad. Multi-touch gestures, such as two-finger scrolling or secondary tap, replicate the behavior of a physical touchpad. The on-screen pointer responds to pressure and swiping for detailed navigation.
  • Full mobile keyboard. Typing on the PC using the phone's native keyboard. This function incorporates autocorrect, swipe input, voice dictation, and all input methods configured in Android. Each keystroke is transmitted instantly to the remote Windows session.
  • Biometric PC unlock. Access to the computer using the phone's fingerprint or facial recognition. The Windows password is end-to-end encrypted and never stored on the host machine. A biometric prompt on the phone releases the session without typing the key on the physical keyboard.
  • Instant remote lock. Immediate system protection with a single tap from the phone when stepping away from the desk. The PC screen turns off and the session remains locked under the Windows security scheme. The action executes in real time, with no perceptible delay, over the local network or internet.
  • Remote sign out. Remote termination of the user session in Windows. All applications close cleanly and the machine stays on for the next user. This function eliminates the need to walk back to the terminal to switch accounts or prepare the system.
  • System power management. Remote execution of shutdown, restart, and sleep commands from the phone interface. Shutdown powers off the PC completely at the end of the day. Restart applies updates or resolves faults, while sleep saves energy keeping applications open for instant wake-up.
  • Code or QR pairing. Secure connection between the phone and the host PC using a six-digit numeric code or a QR code. The generated token verifies the identity of both endpoints before establishing the encrypted channel. The Windows host runs in the system tray without interfering with regular work.
  • Dual connection mode. Automatic operation on local WiFi network or over the internet. The program selects the most suitable communication path without manual intervention. The free version covers all functions on local networks, while internet access is enabled as an additional option.

The JuppIt project was initiated and is maintained by an independent team focused on direct interaction between mobile devices and desktop computers. The first functional version was released in 2020, after a prototyping period centered on screen streaming and binary object transfer. The Windows server codebase and network logic are developed with Rust, a language chosen for its control over performance and safe memory management in system operations. The Android client uses Kotlin to integrate with the mobile operating system's native APIs and execute encryption primitives, biometric authentication, and file handling.
