DeskRule is a tool designed to search and process information in text files, documents, and databases. It supports multiple formats and offers advanced data filtering and transformation capabilities.
- Advanced file search. DeskRule allows complex searches in text files, structured documents, and databases. It uses regular expressions and custom filters to locate specific information with high precision.
- Batch processing. The tool can analyze multiple files simultaneously, applying the same search or transformation rules to all of them. This reduces the time required to work with large volumes of data.
- Support for structured formats. Compatibility with CSV, XML, JSON, SQLite, and other formats. DeskRule interprets the structure of these files to apply searches and modifications effectively.
- Data transformation. Allows modifying file content using predefined or custom rules. Values can be replaced, text reformatted, and data adjusted according to specific needs.
- Selective extraction. The tool can extract specific fragments of information based on patterns or conditions defined by the user. Results can be exported in various formats.
- Condition-based filtering. DeskRule applies complex filters to select only the data that meets certain criteria. This is useful for cleaning datasets or preparing them for further analysis.
- Database integration. Supports direct queries to SQLite databases and other systems, allowing extraction and modification of records without additional software.
- Script automation. Repetitive tasks can be automated using scripts, streamlining workflows in recurring processes.
- Report generation. DeskRule can compile search and processing results into structured reports, ready for analysis or presentation.
- Configurable interface. The interface layout can be adapted according to user preferences, optimizing the workspace for different types of tasks.
DeskRule was developed by Nenad Hrg, founder of the company ZabKat. The project began in 2018 as a solution for handling large volumes of data in professional environments. The program is written in Delphi, ensuring high performance and compatibility with Windows systems.
