• Bidirectional synchronization. The main function of EasySync is to keep two directories synchronized in both directions. It detects changes on either side and applies the necessary modifications to match the content. It uses timestamps and hashes to determine which files need updating.

EasySync was initially developed in 2018 as a personal project to automate backup tasks. The program is written in PHP and released under the MIT license. The main developers maintain the code on GitHub, where community contributions are accepted. The choice of PHP as the base language allows execution on multiple platforms without complex dependencies.
