  • Performance control. G-Helper lets you switch between the system performance modes, including Silent, Balanced, and Turbo. Each mode changes power consumption and fan behavior to suit different needs.
  • Fan management. The tool provides manual and automatic fan settings. You can define custom fan curves to keep temperatures under control.
  • Lighting customization. It supports configuration of RGB keyboards and other lighting elements on ASUS devices, including AURA effects such as breathing, color cycle, and static colors.
  • Power optimization. It lets you adjust power parameters such as CPU and GPU limits, and switch the GPU mode (Eco, Standard, Ultimate) to extend battery life.
  • Real-time monitoring. It shows temperature, CPU/GPU usage, and fan speed data directly in the interface and the system tray. Values are updated constantly for accurate tracking.
  • Replacement for Armoury Crate. It lets you work without the official ASUS services and background processes, which reduces resource usage and improves overall system performance.
  • Update notifications. It checks for new versions and lets you download them, so you always have access to the latest features.
  • Configurable profiles. You can save settings for different scenarios, such as gaming, work, or battery saving, and switch between them quickly.
  • Minimalist interface. It is designed to be functional without unnecessary elements, giving you quick access to the main options.
  • Hotkey support. It lets you assign actions to the dedicated ASUS keys, such as switching performance modes, so you can control your laptop without opening the app.

G-Helper was developed by Vlad Gordeev as a lightweight alternative to the official ASUS software. The project started in 2022 and is written in C#. Its goal is to offer a faster and more efficient way to manage ASUS devices without unnecessary background processes. It is distributed as an open-source project.
