LRTimelapse is a software application designed for editing, keyframing, color grading, and rendering time lapse sequences. The program integrates with Adobe Lightroom Classic, Adobe Camera Raw, and Adobe After Effects to process RAW, DNG, and JPG files through an XMP metadata-based workflow.

• Full RAW file support. Works with RAW images from any manufacturer, as well as DNG and JPG files. RAW data processing is delegated to the Adobe Camera Raw engine, guaranteeing maximum image quality.

LRTimelapse is developed by Gunther Wegner, a German computer engineer and photographer. The development of the application began in 2009 as a response to the need for a non-destructive, keyframe-based workflow for time lapse, something that existing tools did not offer. The first public version was released in 2010. The software is primarily written in the Java programming language, allowing it to run on Windows and macOS operating systems (on both Intel and Apple Silicon architectures).
