Score recognition. Analyzes PDF files and automatically detects notes, rests, measures, clefs, and accidentals. It reads the musical structure directly from the PDF, preserving the original layout of the score.
MIDI export. Generates standard MIDI files compatible with any sequencer or music editing software. Different instruments are kept on separate tracks.
Multiple voice support. Identifies and separates polyphonic melodies into different voices within a single score.
Playback preview. Plays back the converted score so you can check the result before exporting.
Tempo handling. Reads the tempo markings from the score and lets you review the playback speed before exporting.
Notation software compatibility. Works with PDF scores exported from programs such as Finale, Sibelius, or MuseScore, preserving complex musical symbols.
MusicXML export. Besides MIDI, it can save the recognized score as MusicXML, so you can open and edit it in notation programs.
Page selection. Converts specific pages of multi-page PDF documents, which is useful for excerpts or individual movements.
Output settings. Lets you control how instruments are assigned in the exported MIDI file, using General MIDI sounds.
Vector PDFs only. Works with PDFs that contain real music notation data. Scanned images are not supported, so a scanned score needs separate OCR software first.
