Pinocast

Pinocast — Free Download. Neural makeup for live video
Pinocast is real-time virtual makeup software that applies digital cosmetics using neural networks during live streams, video calls, and recordings. The tool operates as an independent virtual camera, eliminating visual artifacts, flickering, or misalignment common with traditional filters. Core capabilities include facial geometry analysis, adaptation to skin tones, and dynamic response to changing ambient lighting, all while delivering video output at 4K resolution.

  • Neural-Blend-In. Neural generation technology that integrates digital makeup directly onto the three-dimensional structure of the face. The algorithm analyzes contours, depths, and facial movements so virtual cosmetics behave as an organic layer, without sliding, hard edges, or irregular effects when the user turns their head or changes expression.
  • Dynamic skin tone correction. The application evaluates color temperature, cast shadows, and specific lighting zones of the face on every frame. Using this data, it adjusts saturation, luminosity, and hues of applied products (foundation, concealer, blush) to match the user's real skin naturally at every moment of the transmission.
  • Visual artifact removal. Neural processing identifies and suppresses flickering, irregular edges, and pixelated zones that appear in traditional overlay methods. This includes line stabilization around eyes, lips, and eyebrows, ensuring a professional image without glitches or fragmentation during rapid movements.
  • Real-time 4K video output. Pinocast generates native 4K resolution video stream directly to any capture software or streaming platform. Rendering maintains fine details of facial textures, lashes, and pores without aggressive compression, even when combined with other video sources in complex scenes.
  • Integrated virtual camera. Once installed, the software registers as an additional video capture device in the system. From OBS Studio, Streamlabs, XSplit, or any application supporting external camera sources, users select "Pinocast Virtual Camera" to receive the processed stream without manual overlays or advanced configurations.
  • Zone-based makeup application. The control panel allows product application on specific independent facial regions: even foundation on cheeks and forehead, contour and highlighter on cheekbones and nose, customizable eyeshadow on eyelids, eyeliner on upper and lower lash lines, digital mascara for lashes, adjustable blush on cheek apples, and multiple lip options (matte, gloss, satin).
  • Layer intensity control. Each cosmetic element has an independent slider from 0% to 100% opacity. Users can apply lipstick at 80% intensity while keeping foundation at 40% and eyeshadow at 60%, enabling subtle looks for professional environments or pronounced finishes for artistic content, with immediate response without restarting the transmission.
  • Settings memory per profile. The application saves complete makeup configurations in profiles with custom names. Each profile stores type and intensity of each product, simulated lighting preferences, and color correction parameters. This allows changing looks in under one second during a live stream by selecting another profile from the interface.
  • Professional software compatibility. Pinocast works as an independent video source in OBS Studio, vMix, Wirecast, StreamYard, Ecamm Live, and non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro (via device capture). It is also detectable in video conferencing applications: Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Skype, Cisco Webex, and Amazon Chime.
  • Facial gesture synchronization. The neural system recognizes specific gestures such as smiling, frowning, or mouth opening. Using this information, it activates automatic makeup changes: increasing lipstick saturation when smiling, intensifying blush when speaking, or dimming eyeshadow when frowning. All these rules are manually configured by the user.
  • Low resource consumption mode. Includes a performance profile that reduces internal processing resolution to 720p or 1080p while maintaining final output at the user-configured resolution. This decreases CPU and GPU usage on computers with limited technical specifications, without losing neural makeup stability or introducing perceptible delay in the video stream.
  • Simultaneous local recording. While streaming to live platforms, Pinocast saves a copy of the processed video directly to the hard drive, using H.264 or H.265 codec, at selectable resolution and without watermarks. This function provides backup clips or material for post-editing without recording from the final stream destination.
  • Simulated lighting calibration. The tool analyzes real light hitting the user's face (direction, color temperature, shadow softness) and generates additional digital lighting that fills dark areas or balances extreme contrasts. This improves visibility of facial features without modifying the physical lighting equipment of the studio.
  • Manual exclusion masks. The user can draw rectangular or polygonal areas on the preview to exclude specific regions from neural processing. For example, excluding a scar, a large mole, or an area with real makeup that should not be altered by the software. These masks are saved with the corresponding makeup profile.
  • Neural model updates without reinstallation. The software automatically downloads new versions of artificial intelligence models when connected to the internet, improving accuracy in facial edge detection, landmark tracking, and cosmetic texture reproduction. The user can check the current model version on the program information screen.

Pinocast is developed by Pinocast Technologies, a company founded in 2021 specializing in computer vision and real-time neural image processing. The first stable version of the program was released in March 2022 after eighteen months of research into facial segmentation algorithms and texture synthesis. The core development team consists of software engineers, computational mathematicians, and interface designers, with operational headquarters in Austin, Texas. The application is written primarily in C++ for the video processing core and low-level memory management, using neural inference libraries such as NVIDIA TensorRT for GPU acceleration. The user interface and profile configuration system are implemented in C# with .NET Framework, while artificial intelligence models are trained using Python and PyTorch frameworks.
