Brightness and contrast adjustment. Lets you change the lightness and tonal range of the image. Sliders make it easy to increase or decrease the values. Fine-tuning improves the visibility of details in dark or bright areas.
Gamma correction. Controls the intensity of midtones without affecting shadows or highlights. Useful for balancing exposure in images with uneven lighting.
Color balance. Adjusts red, green, and blue levels to correct color casts. Lets you compensate for color temperature issues in photographs.
Gaussian blur filter. Softens the image by blurring pixels according to a configurable radius. Used to reduce noise or create artistic effects.
Unsharp mask sharpening. Improves sharpness by applying an algorithm that detects edges and increases their contrast. Adjustable through amount, radius, and threshold parameters.
Grayscale conversion. Converts the image to black and white using different methods: luminosity, average, or desaturation. Keeps control over the resulting contrast.
Rotate and flip. Rotates the image by 90, 180, or 270 degrees. Also lets you flip the composition horizontally or vertically.

PhotoQuick was initially developed by Andrew Zabolotny in 2010 as a free software project. The program is written in C++ using the Qt library for the graphical interface. In 2015, development was taken over by ksharindam, who added new features and improvements. The source code is available under the GPL license on GitHub.
