DeltaTune

DeltaTune is a Windows application that displays the title and artist of the song currently playing on the computer. Its design is inspired by the music visualization present in DELTARUNE Chapter 1.

• Song visualization. Automatically displays the song title and artist when playback starts. The information appears in a format similar to that seen in DELTARUNE during the song Field of Hopes and Dreams.
• Position customization. Allows moving the visualization window to any corner of the screen. The text size can be adjusted according to user preferences.
• Display options. Right-clicking on the system icon provides access to additional settings. Includes the ability to hide the artist name to emulate the original DELTARUNE style.
• Playback status. Indicates when a song is paused or actively playing. The display changes to clearly reflect these states.
• Time control. Offers options to keep the visualization permanent or set a fade-out time. The interval before the text disappears automatically can be adjusted.
• Player compatibility. Works with most music playback applications on Windows. Automatically detects changes between different audio sources.
• Minimization to tray. The application remains accessible from the system tray when not in use. Does not interfere with other windows or foreground applications.
• Configurable visual style. Allows modifying the font, color, and opacity of the displayed text. Changes are applied in real time without needing to restart.
• Automatic detection. Identifies song changes without requiring user interaction. Updates the information immediately when new playback begins.
• Always-on-top mode. Option to keep the text on screen continuously, without fading. Useful for constant monitoring of what is playing.

DeltaTune was created as an independent project inspired by the music visualization system of DELTARUNE. Initially developed in 2021, it uses native Windows technologies to capture playback information.
