DevManView was created by Nir Sofer, founder of NirSoft. Development began in 2010 as part of the system administration tool suite. The application is written in C++ using WinAPI to ensure compatibility with all versions of Windows from Windows 2000 to Windows 11. NirSoft maintains regular software updates to incorporate support for new devices and operating system features.
