Game Hub is a desktop application that centralizes and organizes your video game library from multiple platforms such as Steam and Epic Games into a single visual interface. The program utilizes a Glassmorphism aesthetic and dynamic backgrounds that change based on the selected game.

The application automatically scans common installation directories and system registries to locate the executables. Manually added games are also integrated into the same view. This consolidation eliminates the need to open multiple clients to access different titles.
• Dynamic Glassmorphism Interface. The user interface employs "frosted glass" style visual effects with transparencies and blurs. Game panels and cards have a translucent background. When clicking on a game, the main background of the application transforms into a blurred version of that title's cover art, creating an immersive and contextual browsing experience.

• Real-Time System Monitor. An integrated widget displays PC performance metrics. It provides current load data for the processor (CPU) and RAM usage. It also includes a network latency meter (ping) that performs continuous checks against DNS servers, reporting internet connection stability before starting an online game.
• Direct File Management. For each manually added game, the interface provides a "Show in Folder" direct access button. Activating it opens the operating system's file explorer window in the exact location of the game's executable. It facilitates operations such as creating shortcuts, modifying configuration files, or manually uninstalling the title.
• Lazy Loading. The library's visual engine implements an optimized rendering technique. Game cover images are only loaded into graphics memory when they are visible in the user's viewport. This allows managing collections of hundreds of games without degrading the overall application performance or system resource consumption.
• Seasonal Theme System. The application incorporates visual themes that change according to periods of the year. For example, an update included a winter theme with a red and gold color palette, scrollbars designed like ribbons, and a specialized logo. These themes alter colors, icons, and decorative elements.
• Ambient Particle Effects. As part of the seasonal themes, graphical simulations are implemented in the interface background. The winter theme includes a particle system for snow, with flakes of variable size and opacity falling with realistic movement. A snow gradient is added at the bottom to simulate accumulation and a fog effect.
• Image Fallback System. The logic for fetching cover images is robust. It first attempts to load the main image (header) from Steam's servers. If that request fails or returns a 404 error, the system automatically defaults to obtaining a replacement image from the SteamGridDB community database. This ensures every game has a visual representation.
• View Customization. Users can adjust the size of the library cards, toggling between large, medium, or small icon views. The application allows sorting games alphabetically or by source platform. Visual settings, such as the intensity of the glassmorphism effect, are configurable from a preferences panel.
• Integrated Search Engine. A search bar located at the top of the window allows instant filtering of the library. As characters are typed, the game list dynamically reduces to show only those whose title partially or fully matches the query. The search is case-insensitive.
• Quick Game Launching. The main action of the application is to run video games. By double-clicking any game card, or by selecting it and pressing a "Play" button, the program starts the game's executable with the correct parameters. It manages the necessary launch protocols for games from platforms like Steam, ensuring a proper start.

Game Hub was developed by Ziad Nahouli. The project began its development in the year 2025. The application is primarily built with web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, utilizing the Electron framework to package the code as a native desktop application for Windows.
