• Light and dark themes. The user interface can be switched between a light and a dark color theme. The selected theme applies consistently across all panels, toolbars, and dialog windows.
• Configuration export and import. All program settings, including bookmarks, saved connections, and interface preferences, can be exported to a single file. This file can be imported later for backup purposes or to replicate the setup on another machine.
• Multilingual interface support. The program interface is available in multiple languages, including English, Spanish, German, French, and Romanian. Language changes are applied immediately to all menus and interface elements.

The development of MTF Explorer is handled by the Romanian company InsFactory. The first public version of the software was released in 2015. The application is written entirely in the C# programming language and is built on the Microsoft .NET framework for Windows operating systems.
