PlayIt Recorder is a desktop application for automated capture of radio broadcasts and line inputs. Its primary function lies in creating detailed weekly schedules, enabling recordings to start and stop without manual intervention. It supports capture from input devices such as microphones, as well as internal system audio recording via the loopback function. Generated files can be stored in uncompressed WAVE format or compressed MP3, using advanced custom encoders. The software includes an automatic cleanup system that removes old files after a configurable number of days or when disk space reaches a critical threshold defined by the user. A main interface displays a volume meter, the selected audio source, and quick-access buttons for starting immediate captures. The current version includes multi-language support, with the ability to detect the operating system language.
