RcloneView — Free Download. Graphical interface for Rclone
RcloneView is a graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a visual layer for the Rclone file management and synchronization engine. It allows you to perform operations such as copying, synchronizing, and organizing files between local storage and multiple cloud services, without needing to use the command line. The tool supports a wide range of storage providers and allows you to visually compare directories, schedule tasks, and monitor transfers.

  • File navigation and management. The interface presents panels with a directory tree view and a file list, allowing you to simultaneously browse local drives and configured cloud storage. From this view, you can perform basic management operations such as renaming, moving, or deleting files and folders on the various connected remotes.
  • Visual synchronization between directories. The synchronization function allows you to select two paths (local or remote) and align their content. The interface facilitates a prior comparison of the differences between the folders before executing the operation, helping to prevent unwanted actions.
  • File copying and transfer. It supports copying files and folders between any combination of local and remote storage. Transfers can be done via drag-and-drop or using the action buttons on the toolbar, showing progress in real-time.
  • Folder comparison. It includes a dedicated tool for comparing the contents of two folders, highlighting files that exist only on one side, are newer, or differ in size. This comparison is visual and serves as a basis for deciding on subsequent synchronization actions.
  • Job Manager. It allows you to create, save, and manage recurring sync or copy tasks. Saved jobs can be run manually or, in the PLUS version, scheduled for automatic execution at specific times.
  • Mounting remote storage as a local drive. It integrates the ability to mount a configured cloud storage (like Google Drive or S3) as a network drive or folder on the local file system. This allows you to access remote files directly from any application on your operating system, without needing to download them first.
  • Transfer monitoring and logging. All transfer operations are monitored in a dedicated tab showing progress, speed, and estimated time remaining. A log tab stores a timestamped history of all operations performed, including details for diagnostics.
  • Multi-window support for external Rclone daemons. The PLUS version of the application allows you to open multiple RcloneView windows, each capable of connecting to a different instance of the Rclone daemon (rclone rc). This is useful for simultaneously managing connections to remote servers or isolated environments.
  • Centralized remote connection management. It features a manager for adding, editing, or removing cloud storage configurations (remotes). It supports numerous providers such as Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3, WebDAV, and others. Existing Rclone CLI configurations can be imported and used directly.
  • Interface customization and settings. It allows you to modify the application layout, switching between a horizontal or vertical arrangement of panels, and toggling between single-panel or dual-panel view. It also includes general settings such as the interface language and the behavior of drag-and-drop operations.
  • Integration with the Rclone daemon. The application internally uses the Rclone daemon's API (rclone rc) to perform all its operations. It can use an Rclone instance embedded within the application or connect to an external, running Rclone daemon, offering flexibility in advanced environments.
  • Filtering for sync operations. When creating synchronization tasks, it is possible to define filters to include or exclude files based on criteria such as name pattern, extension, size, or modification date. This allows for selective and efficient synchronization.

RcloneView is developed by Bdrive, a company with experience in cloud mounting and synchronization tools, whose previous product is NetDrive. The application was announced to the community in 2023. The graphical interface is built on top of the Rclone engine, which is written in the Go programming language.
