• Extension management. Modifies, adds, or removes file extensions independently from the base name. Permits changing complete extensions (for example, from .txt to .log), adding secondary extensions, or removing the current extension, separating name treatment from file type.
• CSV file renaming. Imports a comma-separated values table containing original names and assigned new names. The function pairs each file with its new name defined in the CSV, enabling customized and non-sequential renaming based on external data.
• Metadata usage. Incorporates internal file information (creation date, modification date, size, image dimensions, EXIF metadata, MP3 tags) directly into the name. Extracts file system properties and formats them as part of the final name text.
• Size and extension filtering. Applies constraints to include or exclude files based on size in bytes, kilobytes, or megabytes, and based on extension (XML, TXT, HTML, LOG, among others). Limits the set of items to rename, avoiding processing of unwanted files.
