guIDE is the first truly native, local IDE for artificial intelligence. Developed by GraySoft, it runs language models directly on the user's machine without needing a cloud connection, offering unlimited code completions and total privacy. Its architecture, similar to VS Code, integrates a local inference engine (GPU/CPU), an autonomous agent loop (Agentic AI Loop) that plans and executes multi-step tasks, and an RAG system that indexes the source code to provide contextually accurate responses. It includes 53 built-in MCP tools, browser automation with Playwright, a code runner for over 50 languages, and voice input via Whisper. It is available for Windows, Linux, and macOS, with variants like Pocket guIDE (browser version) and Side guIDE (Chrome extension).
